orbrep — find a permutation which maps A to B

## Synopsis

**orbrep** [Options] *<Perm> <Seed> <Stop> <Script>*

## Description

Given a set of generating permutations, this program find a product of the generators which maps a given point, *Seed*, to a second given point, *Stop*. By default, the program works with two generators which are read from *Perm*.1 and *Perm*.2, respectively. You can specify a different number of permutations using the -g option.

The result is a list of numbers defining the result as a product in the generators. This file is a text file and can be read by GAP.

## Options

**-Q**- Quiet, no messages.
**-V**- Verbose, more messages.
**-T***<MaxTime>*- Set CPU time limit
**-g***<NPerms>*- Set the number of permutations. Default: 2.

## Input Files

*Perm*.{1,2,...}- Permutations.

## Output Files

*Script*- The word that maps
*Seed*to*Stop*.
