[1mDESCRIPTION[0m
[1mlfc_starttrans [22mstarts transaction mode. The connection to the Name
Server is kept open until one of the DB update operation fails or
[1mlfc_aborttrans [22mor [1mlfc_endtrans [22mis explicitly called. If all the DB
update operations between [1mlfc_starttrans [22mand [1mlfc_endtrans [22mare success-
ful, a COMMIT is done. If any DB update operation fails or if an
explicit [1mlfc_aborttrans [22mis done, a ROLLBACK is done. The [4mcomment[24m is
logged in the server log.

[1mRETURN VALUE[0m
This routine returns 0 if the operation was successful or -1 if the
operation failed. In the latter case, [1mserrno [22mis set appropriately.

[1mEINVAL [22mThe length of [4mcomment[24m exceeds [1mCA_MAXCOMMENTLEN[22m.
