client-getname.3valkey - Man Page
Returns the name of the connection.
Synopsis
CLIENT GETNAME
The CLIENT GETNAME returns the name of the current connection as set by CLIENT SETNAME. Since every new connection starts without an associated name, if no name was assigned a null bulk reply is returned.

Resp2
One of the following:
- valkey-protocol(7) Bulk string reply: the connection name of the current connection.
- valkey-protocol(7) Nil reply: the connection name was not set.
Resp3
One of the following:
- valkey-protocol(7) Bulk string reply: the connection name of the current connection.
- valkey-protocol(7) Null reply: the connection name was not set.
