Positional Arguments

rpmautospec generate-changelog

Generate changelog entries from git commit logs

rpmautospec convert

Convert a package repository to use rpmautospec

rpmautospec process-distgit

Modify the contents of the specfile according to the repo

rpmautospec calculate-release

Calculate the next release tag for a package build

COMMAND 'rpmautospec generate-changelog'

spec_or_path

Path to package worktree or the spec file within

COMMAND 'rpmautospec convert'

usage: rpmautospec convert [-h] [--message MESSAGE] [--no-commit]

spec_or_path

Path to package worktree or spec file

OPTIONS 'rpmautospec convert'

--message MESSAGE, -m MESSAGE

Override message to use when committing changes

--no-commit,  -n

Don't commit after making changes

--no-changelog

Don't convert the %changelog

--no-release

Don't convert the Release field

spec_or_path

Path to package worktree or the spec file within

Path where to write processed spec file

COMMAND 'rpmautospec calculate-release'

usage: rpmautospec calculate-release [-h] [-c | -n] [spec_or_path]

spec_or_path

Path to package worktree or the spec file within

OPTIONS 'rpmautospec calculate-release'

-c, --complete-release

Print the complete release with flags (without dist tag)

-n, --number-only

Print only the calculated release number

--pager,  --no-pager

Start a pager automatically

-q,  --quiet

Be less talkative

--debug

Enable debugging output

--error-on-unparseable-spec,  --no-error-on-unparseable-spec

Whether to throw an error if the current version of the spec file can’t be parsed

Environment variable $RPMAUTOSPEC_LESS can specify pager options (pager is currently only used by 'generate-changelog').
