      rfrm - remove remote files and directories

      [1mrfrm [4m[22mfilename...[0m
      [1mrfrm [22m[ [1m-f [22m] [ [1m-r [22m] [4mdirectory...[0m

[1mDESCRIPTION[0m
      [1mrfrm  [22mprovides an interface to the [1mshift [22mremote file I/O daemon (rfiod)
      for removing entries for one or more files from a directory.

      If [4mfilename[24m is a symbolic link, the link will be removed, but the  file
      or directory to which it refers will not be deleted.

      The  [4mfilename[24m or [4mdirectory[24m argument is either a remote path name of the
      form:

             [4mhostname[24m[1m:[4m[22mpath[0m

      or a local path name (not containing the :/ character combination).

[1mOPTIONS[0m
      The following options apply to [1mrfrm:[0m

      [1m-f     [22mNever prompts.

      [1m-r     [22mRecursively remove directories and subdirectories in  the  argu-
             ment list. The directory will be emptied of files and removed.

      Although  [1mrfrm [22msupports a list of file names or directories it does not
      support regular expressions [1m(regexp(5)).  [22mFor instance,

             [1mrfrm host:/a/b/c[0m

      will not work.
