A command-line tool to generate, analyze, convert and manipulate colors
Examples (TL;DR)
- Convert colors from one format to another. Here from RGB to HSL:
pastel format hsl ff8000 - Show and analyze colors on the terminal:

Synopsis
pastel [--color-picker] [-f|--force-color] [-h|--help] [-m|--color-mode] [-V|--version] <subcommands>
Description
A command-line tool to generate, analyze, convert and manipulate colors
Options
- --color-picker
Use a specific tool to pick the colors
[possible values: gpick, xcolor, wcolor, grabc, colorpicker, chameleon, kcolorchooser, zenity, yad, hyprpicker, gdbus]
- -f, --force-color
Alias for --mode=24bit
- -h, --help
Print help
- -m, --color-mode <mode>
Specify the terminal color mode: 24bit, 8bit, off, *auto*
- -V, --version
Print version
Subcommands

Display information about the given color
- pastel-colorblind(1)
Simulate a color under a certain colorblindness profile

Check if your terminal emulator supports 24-bit colors.
