oc create route passthrough — Create a route that uses passthrough TLS termination


oc create route passthrough [Options]


Create a route that uses passthrough TLS termination

Specify the service (either just its name or using type/name syntax) that the generated route should expose via the --service flag.


Set a hostname for the new route
-o, --output=""
Output mode. Use "-o name" for shorter output (resource/name).
Name of the service port or number of the container port the route will route traffic to
--schema-cache-dir=" /.kube/schema"
If non-empty, load/store cached API schemas in this directory, default is '$HOME/.kube/schema'
Name of the service that the new route is exposing
If true, use a schema to validate the input before sending it

DEPRECATED: The API version to use when talking to the server

Username to impersonate for the operation.

Path to a cert. file for the certificate authority.

Path to a client certificate file for TLS.

Path to a client key file for TLS.

The name of the kubeconfig cluster to use

Path to the config file to use for CLI requests.

The name of the kubeconfig context to use

The Google Cloud Platform Service Account JSON Key to use for authentication.

If true, the server's certificate will not be checked for validity. This will make your HTTPS connections insecure.

Maximum number of seconds between log flushes

Require server version to match client version

-n, --namespace=""
If present, the namespace scope for this CLI request.

The address and port of the Kubernetes API server

Bearer token for authentication to the API server.

The name of the kubeconfig user to use


# Create a passthrough route named "my-route" that exposes the frontend service.
oc create route passthrough my-route --service=frontend

# Create a passthrough route that exposes the frontend service and specify
# a hostname. If the route name is omitted, the service name will be re-used.
oc create route passthrough --service=frontend --hostname=www.example.com
