oc cancel-build — Cancel running, pending, or new builds


oc cancel-build [Options]


Cancel running, pending, or new builds

This command requests a graceful shutdown of the build. There may be a delay between requesting the build and the time the build is terminated.


Specify if the build logs for the cancelled build should be shown.
Specify if a new build should be created after the current build is cancelled.
Only cancel builds in this state

DEPRECATED: The API version to use when talking to the server

Username to impersonate for the operation.

Path to a cert. file for the certificate authority.

Path to a client certificate file for TLS.

Path to a client key file for TLS.

The name of the kubeconfig cluster to use

Path to the config file to use for CLI requests.

The name of the kubeconfig context to use

The Google Cloud Platform Service Account JSON Key to use for authentication.

If true, the server's certificate will not be checked for validity. This will make your HTTPS connections insecure.

Maximum number of seconds between log flushes

Require server version to match client version

-n, --namespace=""
If present, the namespace scope for this CLI request.

The address and port of the Kubernetes API server

Bearer token for authentication to the API server.

The name of the kubeconfig user to use


# Cancel the build with the given name
oc cancel-build ruby-build-2

# Cancel the named build and print the build logs
oc cancel-build ruby-build-2 --dump-logs

# Cancel the named build and create a new one with the same parameters
oc cancel-build ruby-build-2 --restart

# Cancel multiple builds
oc cancel-build ruby-build-1 ruby-build-2 ruby-build-3

# Cancel all builds created from 'ruby-build' build configuration that are in 'new' state
oc cancel-build bc/ruby-build --state=new
